Resume ATS analyzer
Upload a PDF or DOCX, paste the job, and see the resume as a parser does: keywords used, listed or missing, layout risks, and honest rewrites.
How does the CodeKairo resume ATS analyzer work?
Upload a PDF or DOCX and paste the job description; the analyzer scores the resume out of 100 across eight categories — keyword match, required skills, experience relevance, structure, ATS compatibility, achievement quality, education and certifications, job alignment — with the reason and the evidence behind every point. Skills are shown as demonstrated in a bullet, only listed, or missing; layout risks that break parsers — tables, columns, text boxes, headers — are flagged by severity. AI rewrites improve a bullet without inventing facts: a number the resume lacks becomes [add figure], a technology it never mentions is dropped. Edit in place, keep versions, export a clean PDF or DOCX. The file is not kept. Free on every plan.
How it works
- Upload and paste the job. A PDF or DOCX up to 5 MB, read once for its text and layout and then discarded, and the job description as posted — or a role profile if you do not have one.
- Read the score and the reasons. Eight categories, each with its points, its maximum, the reason and the evidence. Six are computed from the resume, the job and the file; two are the model's judgement, bounded at 25 points together.
- Fix bullets in the editor. Rewrites in six modes, every one checked against the resume: numbers you never wrote become [add figure], technologies you never mentioned are dropped. Nothing changes until you accept it.
- Export, and compare later. A clean PDF or DOCX in one ATS-safe layout. Versions keep every state; re-analyse after an edit and the report shows the two runs side by side.
Who it is for
Anyone whose applications go quiet before a human reads them. Applicant-tracking software rejects on keywords and layout, silently; this shows the same reading a parser gets, and what it would take to pass.
