Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and CodeKairo. CodeKairo is run by Ayaan Pathan, in India. They cover codekairo.com, the accounts that use it, and the paid plans; tournaments on CodeKairo Battles also follow the Battles terms. By creating an account or using the site you accept them; if you do not, please do not use CodeKairo.

They sit alongside the privacy policy, which explains what data we collect and why, and the cancellation and refund policy, which explains how payments work.

Your account

• Who can sign up. CodeKairo is intended for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• One person, one account. An account is yours alone. Do not share it, sell it or let someone else solve, sit or interview on it — ratings, streaks and results are meant to describe one person's work.
• Keep it safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Use a password you do not use elsewhere, and tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
• Accurate details. Give a real email address you can receive mail at; it is how we verify the account and how you recover it.

What you may not do

Use CodeKairo to practise, compete and prepare — and not to:

• Cheat the judge or the rankings. Submit output you did not compute, forge a verdict, exploit a bug in the judge or the scoring, or use more than one account to gain rating, XP, duel wins or tournament places.
• Attack or overload the service. Probe for vulnerabilities without permission, run code meant to break out of the sandbox or harm other systems, flood the site with automated requests, or get around rate limits and plan limits.
• Copy the catalogue. Scrape or bulk-download problems, editorials, lessons, bug hunts, aptitude questions or tests, or republish them elsewhere.
• Harm other people. Post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or misleading, share someone else's personal information, or impersonate anyone — in the community, a pair room, a duel chat or a profile.
• Break the law. Use CodeKairo for anything illegal, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property.

If you find a security problem, please report it to us privately instead of using it.

Your content and ours

• What you write stays yours. You own the code you submit and what you post. You give CodeKairo permission to store, judge and display it as the features need — running your code, showing your posts to the community, putting a shared win on a card — and nothing more. The code in your submissions stays private to you.
• What we write is ours. The problems, editorials, reference solutions, lessons, bug hunts, aptitude questions, tests, diagrams and the site itself belong to CodeKairo. Read, learn from and practise with them as much as you like; do not copy, republish or sell them.
• What we may remove. We may remove posts, comments, profile content or rooms that break these terms.

Paid plans and payment

• Prices. Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page, in Indian rupees. The free account stays free; paid plans raise the mock-interview and bug-hunt limits. Until 1 January 2027 every plan's limits are lifted for every account and no plan can be bought; the prices are what each will cost from then.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments by card, UPI or net banking. Your card, UPI and bank details go to Cashfree, never to us.
• When a plan starts and ends. A plan starts when the payment is confirmed and runs for the period you bought — a month or a year. It does not renew automatically: when it ends the account returns to the free plan and nothing more is charged unless you buy again.
• Renewing and changing plans. Renewing the same plan early adds a period to the end of the current one. Upgrading to a higher plan replaces the running plan straight away, and the time left on the old plan is not refunded or carried over. A lower plan cannot be bought while a higher one is running.
• Refunds. Payments are not refundable at present. The cancellation and refund policy explains what that means and what to do if a payment goes wrong.
• Price changes. We may change prices or what a plan includes. A change never affects a plan you have already paid for, for the period you paid for.

What we promise, and what we don't

• It changes. CodeKairo is being built in the open. Features are added, changed and sometimes retired; we try to announce changes that affect you in the app.
• It can be down. We aim to keep the site available, but it is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uptime. Judging depends on third-party code-execution services and AI features on third-party models, and any of them can be slow or unavailable.
• AI output is practice. Mock-interview questions, scores and feedback, resume suggestions and the assistant's answers are generated by AI models. They can be wrong. They are practice, not a prediction of any hiring decision, and no company endorses them.
• No affiliation. Company names on placement tests and problem tags describe the patterns and questions they are modelled on. CodeKairo is not affiliated with those companies.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, CodeKairo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — a missed offer, a lost streak, lost data or lost income — arising from your use of the site or from the site being unavailable. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow us to limit.

Suspension and closing an account

You can stop using CodeKairo at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@codekairo.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — for cheating, abuse or attacks on the service — and will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it. A plan ended because its account broke these terms is not refunded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please write to us first — most problems are fixed faster by email than by anything formal.

When these terms change

When the terms change, this page is updated and the date at the top moves. A change that materially affects you is announced in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use CodeKairo after that means you accept the updated terms.
